Sometimes a little twist makes the greatest impression. In this case, a literal twist on Sara Rowghani’s chair makes it an incredible design. The chair reminds me of so many things at once: a pretzel, hair braid, chocolate, ribbons.

Some things are best left uncolored. I am crazy over nude/sandy colored linen pants paired with a loose fitted blouse with a feminine touch. I’ll make sure I accessorize accordingly whenever I opt for this look this summer, as the risk of dulling it out is quite high. Vintage shades will always make it work.

We all love macarons. Although i think they're more of an eye treat than a tongue treat,they are just lovely to scatter around a table or on mini plates to add that marie-antoinetteish touch to a setting.
mais do you love them enough to wear them on your feet ? i think theyd look super sweet if worn with the right outfit,and i heart the pink shoe lace.

comfort is the boss

its been a while since i last put on a pair of jeans, for so many reasons:
a. its too hot
b. i decided i'm much more comfortable in leggings,velour pants,etc.
c. not fun to experiment with.
today, i slipped on a pair of jeans and couldn't bear keeping them on! The thing is, once you stop wearing them, its hard to switch back.
My number one alternative now is loose fitting cotton pants that feel like smart pyjamas.


With pants like that i could walk around forever. Do tell if you know where theyre found.

surprise surprise B

Last night we got together for a casual/surprise mini pool party for my sister B.
I set the table up with a fresh tea green colored cover, with edges i had cut in a half-circular pattern. I attached loose bows around the ends.
I scattered tea lite candles around the pool, dug up the coasters i got at Soho NYC two years ago and enjoyed the outdoor heat for a couple of hours.
Recommended if you've spent tooo much time indoors and need to get some fresh air.
I realize i've neglected my blog for sooo long, i actually missed it. xoxo

late night inspiration

i've always loved simple + chic hair styles i can do myself in less than five minutes. Johnny Lavoy makes really pretty ones. Below my favorite-although could be decieving with the blonde and black ribbon,i might need another color.



do you also hate the BB camera shutter sound ? I for one find it very irritating when i want to capture something secretly{something like furniture in a store with snotty salespeople}. I finally found a solution at peek-a-boo,,although it didn't completely mute the sound it made it reaaalllyyy low. So grab your BB's and shoot away during those silent moments you want to capture.
