to the warriors in Gaza

I am no politician or social activist, my knowledge of the world's political future is very limited, and i may miss out on very important facts regarding massive political issues.

I am however writing this from the heart of my heart, after the most heartbreaking image on Aljazeera of a Palestinian child laying dead on a green floor, in a hospital with the most alarmingly chaotic situation anyone could ever witness, surrounded by hundreds of wounded children and women, men screaming from excruciating pain, and doctors running around trying to save as many lives possible.

I then learned from the report these people were at a mosque, performing their Maghreb prayers, when an Israeli bomb or missile hit somewhere nearby.
The people in Gaza are now living with no electricity, in a very cold climate, with nothing to eat but bread that has been saved for days. As if that was not enough, they are sleep deprived due to the sound of bombs and missiles followed by ambulances and alarms accompanied with the fear of losing loved ones and looking up to a roof that might come down on them any minute.

What have they done to deserve this you may wonder, to them the most basic answer they could give is: because we are Palestinian. The death toll in Gaza has today reached 465 people, almost 60% of which are women and children.

Still, they are people who believe they are dying for a cause..and that’s what keeps them going.

Please pray for the people of Gaza.
