some color-less beauties

Some things are best left uncolored. I am crazy over nude/sandy colored linen pants paired with a loose fitted blouse with a feminine touch. I’ll make sure I accessorize accordingly whenever I opt for this look this summer, as the risk of dulling it out is quite high. Vintage shades will always make it work.

frenzy for firenze

After our tour around the salone internazionale del mobile we took off to Florence. I just love that city. The charm it possesses is really special. I’ve got to say though this time we got a real taste of Florence with our Italian friend Mr. Bellucci. We got a taste of the real Florentine food and confectionaries. We walked by many historical landmarks in the city and got a very informative brief from him. If you’re reading this thank you very much!

italy'10 304If you’re ever passing by Florence, make sure you dine at L’Osteria di Giovanni. Recommended by an Italian friend, we had the concierge mark it on the map and set off on our quest to find it. Twenty minutes later we were there and the walk was well worth it. Great food and great service! italy'10 347

and finally, a stop by the officina profumo farmacia di santa maria novella. The place is a beauty itself, and they stock fab body oils, scents and soaps. A must see!

And with that my friends ends this lovely stroll through Florence. It’s the kind of place where you know there’s a million things to discover, but you’ve just got to walk on and find the most in the least time possible. And that is why i am frenzy for Firenze.

good zombie faced morning

aside from the fact that i havent slept a minute because, as usual, i've left my packing to the last minute. It beats me why I never learn my lesson.
That's also why I hate travelling on morning flights, or as mr.H always says I need time management courses. But that's just his opinion, I think it's quite impossible to manage your time perfectly when youve got a million and one things to do in one week.

Well to the next great adventure, were off to Milan for the Salone Internazionale del Mobile. It's my first time there but I am so looking forward to all the decor beauties i'm going to feast my eyes on. Will post updates once I get there.

Until then, arrivederci. x

fun with fish

I'm so late on posting my photos up here but had to do it nonetheless. I've only been to Singapore of the Far East countries before, so I had no clue what Kuala Lumpur would be like. Though I didn't spend much time there I had a great time.
I loved how diverse the place was intermixed with elements of originality that you won't find elsewhere.

my sister and I accidentally found this coffee shop/home accessories store Zang Toi. They had the most beautiful trays and wall mirrors. They also make beautiful white stacking baskets and lounge clothing.

twin towers city

I have just arrived in Kuala Lumpur for the first time ever.
The drive from the airport to the hotel was tropically beautiful. I'v got lots to see in the few days we've got here, and must pamper myself to the max with all the divine spa treatments.

happy holidays everyone <3 xo

i heart dc

ah bang me on the head for being such a bad blogger! I have been extremely busy lately with so many things to do;but most of my time and undivided attention is given to my final semester.Yes that's right i'm finally gonna be done. I have already planned on what im willing to do when my life is uni-free. Lets just say there are lots of plans and i'll be happy if I can just fulfill one or two of all.

I decided I had to add a post of my summer photos this year since its become a blog-ritual for moi. I think its just a smart way of archiving my vacations, favorite spots et observations.I've been wanting to do this for so long but never got the chance to upload the photos!crazy, i know. So here it goes.

The homestead resort; a former estate transformed into a ski/summer resort with lots of activities. Unfortunately we didn't book in time to get slots for what we actually wanted to do but it was a very pleasant experience-especially at the shooting range.

the beautiful gardens at the homestead

i luved the hanging plates and bows;so pretty

carriages available for a carriage ride through the estate, how romantic is that ?

the place had beautiful corners with interesting colors, like this pink corner i found very sweet

my brother on the shooting range, its so much fun but only when you actually break the plates which i only did like thrice out of 20. One very bad beginner.

she rests as mommy shops, please note the bows. TDF.

la cornue stoves make my heart beat twice, @williams sonoma

at the pancake house for breakfast, morning ritual with my brothers and sister

barnes & noble;my stop after all shops are closed. I love this place, i could spend hours and hours in the interior design section.
The book on the ground is a great find about grace kelly's outstanding wedding gown- {collecting inspiration}

have i ever mentioned how much i love dean&deluca? i adore the place. They stock the best organic jams and olive oils.
